Quran with British translation - Surah Al-hijr ayat 47 - الحِجر - Page - Juz 14
﴿وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 47]
﴿ونـزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل إخوانا على سرر متقابلين﴾ [الحِجر: 47]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face |
Mohammad Shafi And We will clean their hearts of any rancour. They shall be on couches face to face as brethren |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised |
Mufti Taqi Usmani We shall have removed whatever grudge they had in their hearts, (thus making them) brothers, sitting on couches, face to face |
Muhammad Asad And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness |
Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And We will draw out from them whatever rancor may be in their breasts; as brethren they will be upon settees facing one another |
Muhammad Sarwar We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another |
