﴿وَيَجۡعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡبَنَٰتِ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 57]
﴿ويجعلون لله البنات سبحانه ولهم ما يشتهون﴾ [النَّحل: 57]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire |
Mohammad Shafi And they arbitrarily attribute daughters (angels) to Allah. HE is too glorious to have any such creaturely attribute. And, for themselves, they would have what they desire (sons) |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they assign unto Allah daughters - Be He Glorified! - and unto themselves what they desire |
