﴿ثُمَّ عَفَوۡنَا عَنكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 52]
﴿ثم عفونا عنكم من بعد ذلك لعلكم تشكرون﴾ [البَقَرَة: 52]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then We pardoned you after that so that you might give thanks |
| Mohammad Shafi Then, after that, We forgave you that you might express gratefulness |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then, even after that, We pardoned you in order that ye might give thanks |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Yet We pardoned you, even after that, so that you may show gratitude |
| Muhammad Asad yet, even after that, We blotted out this your sin, so that you might have cause to be grateful |
