﴿قَالُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡنَآ أَوَعَظۡتَ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡوَٰعِظِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 136]
﴿قالوا سواء علينا أوعظت أم لم تكن من الواعظين﴾ [الشعراء: 136]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: It is the same to us whether you admonish or are not one of the admonishers |
| Mohammad Shafi They said. "It is all the same to us whether you preach or not |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “It is all equal for us, whether you give us advice or you do not become one of the advisors |
