﴿لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 8]
﴿لا يسمعون إلى الملإ الأعلى ويقذفون من كل جانب﴾ [الصَّافَات: 8]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side |
| Mohammad Shafi They cannot listen to the deliberations of the Highest Assembly up there. And they are repelled from every side |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They cannot listen to the Upper Realm and are hit from every side |
| Muhammad Asad [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides |
