﴿فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 98]
﴿فأرادوا به كيدا فجعلناهم الأسفلين﴾ [الصَّافَات: 98]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low |
| Mohammad Shafi And they devised a plan against him, but We brought them down |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, they intended to bring harm to him, but We made them the lowest (by frustrating their plan) |
| Muhammad Asad But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low |
