﴿لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ حُطَٰمٗا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُونَ ﴾
[الوَاقِعة: 65]
﴿لو نشاء لجعلناه حطاما فظلتم تفكهون﴾ [الوَاقِعة: 65]
Mohammad Habib Shakir If We pleased, We should have certainly made it broken down into pieces, then would you begin to lament |
Mohammad Shafi If We so wished, We could have reduced your harvest to rubble, and you would have been left exclaiming |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall If We willed, We verily could make it chaff, then would ye cease not to exclaim |
Mufti Taqi Usmani If We so will, We can certainly make it crumbled, and you will remain wondering |
Muhammad Asad [For,] were it Our will, We could indeed turn it into chaff, and you would be left to wonder [and to lament] |
