﴿قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتۡ عَلَيۡنَا شِقۡوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوۡمٗا ضَآلِّينَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 106]
﴿قالوا ربنا غلبت علينا شقوتنا وكنا قوما ضالين﴾ [المؤمنُون: 106]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They will say, “Our Lord, our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They say: our Master, our misery overcame us and we were misguided people |
| Ali Quli Qarai They will say, ‘Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were an astray lot |
| Ali Unal They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness (which we ourselves provoked upon ourselves) prevailed over us, and we were people lost in error |
| Hamid S Aziz They will say, "Our Lord our misfortune overcame us, and we became a people astray |
| John Medows Rodwell They shall say, "O our Lord! our ill-fortune prevailed against us, and we became an erring people |
| Literal They said: "Our Lord our misery/unhappiness defeated/overcame on us, and we were a misguided nation |
