Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 117 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 9
﴿۞ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَلۡقِ عَصَاكَۖ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَأۡفِكُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 117]
﴿وأوحينا إلى موسى أن ألق عصاك فإذا هي تلقف ما يأفكون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 117]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al We put into Moses’ mind by inspiration, “Throw your staff.” And behold, it instantly made all the illusions that they faked disappear |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We revealed to Moses: throw your cane, and it suddenly swallows whatever they fake |
| Ali Quli Qarai And We signalled to Moses: ‘Throw down your staff.’ And behold, it was swallowing what they had faked |
| Ali Unal We revealed to Moses: "Throw down your staff!" and behold! it swallowed up their false devices |
| Hamid S Aziz But We inspired Moses (saying), "Throw down your rod." and it swallowed up their lying show |
| John Medows Rodwell Then spake we unto Moses, "Throw down thy rod;" and lo! it devoured their lying wonders |
| Literal And We inspired/transmitted/signaled to Moses, that throw/throw away your stick/cane, so then it snatches/swallows quickly what they lie/falsify |
| Mir Anees Original And We communicated to Musa that: "Throw your staff," so when it swallowed that which they had falsely devised |
