﴿تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمَضَاجِعِ يَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُمۡ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 16]
﴿تتجافى جنوبهم عن المضاجع يدعون ربهم خوفا وطمعا ومما رزقناهم ينفقون﴾ [السَّجدة: 16]
| Dr Kamal Omar Their sides forsake the beds; they invoke their Nourisher-Sustainer in fear and hope; and of the provisions We bestowed unto them — they spend (in accordance with the counselling and advice available in Al-Kitab) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar whose sides deliberately avoided their sleeping places to call to their Lord in fear and hope. And they spend of what We provided them |
| Dr Munir Munshey They withdraw from their beds (at night), and stay up praying to their Lord. They spend (in charity) out of what We provide them |
