﴿قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 29]
﴿قالوا بل لم تكونوا مؤمنين﴾ [الصَّافَات: 29]
| Dr Kamal Omar They (i.e., the others) said: “Nay, you (yourselves) were not Believers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They would say: Nay! You are not ones who believe |
| Dr Munir Munshey Others will reply, "Not so at all! You were disbelievers yourselves |
| Edward Henry Palmer They shall say, 'Nay, ye were not believers |
| Farook Malik They will reply: "Nay! But it was you who had no faith |
| George Sale and the seducers shall answer, nay, rather ye were not true believers |
| Maududi They will say: "Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe |
