﴿وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا ﴾
[الإنسَان: 30]
﴿وما تشاءون إلا أن يشاء الله إن الله كان عليما حكيما﴾ [الإنسَان: 30]
| Dr Kamal Omar And you desire not except if Allah (so) wills. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar But you will it not unless God wills it. For God had been Knowing, Wise |
| Dr Munir Munshey But you cannot will anything, unless Allah wills it so. Indeed, Allah is all-Knowing, all-Wise |

| George Sale But ye shall not will, unless God willeth; for God is knowing, and wise |
| Maududi But your willing shall be of no avail until Allah Himself so wills. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, Most Wise |
