﴿يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي ﴾
[الفَجر: 24]
﴿يقول ياليتني قدمت لحياتي﴾ [الفَجر: 24]
| Dr Kamal Omar He will say: “Alas! Would that I had sent in advance (righteous deeds) for my life (in the new world) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He will say: O would that I had put forward from this life for the world to come |
| Dr Munir Munshey Man will say, "Alas! If only I had sent ahead of me (the good deeds) for this life of mine |
| Edward Henry Palmer He will say, 'Would that I had sent something forward for my life |
| Farook Malik He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth some good deeds for this life of mine |
| George Sale He shall say, would to God that I had heretofore done good works in my life-time |
