﴿لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٞ وَٰعِيَةٞ ﴾
[الحَاقة: 12]
﴿لنجعلها لكم تذكرة وتعيها أذن واعية﴾ [الحَاقة: 12]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So that We may make it a reminder to you, and that the retaining ear might retain it |
| Mohammad Shafi So as to make it for you an event to remember, and so that an attentive ear commits it to memory |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani so that We make it a reminder for you, and so that a preserving ear (that hears their story) may preserve it |
