﴿إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنَٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡجَارِيَةِ ﴾
[الحَاقة: 11]
﴿إنا لما طغى الماء حملناكم في الجارية﴾ [الحَاقة: 11]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Surely We bore you up in the ship when the water rose high |
| Mohammad Shafi When the water rose to great heights indeed, We bore you upon a floating vessel.h |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani When the water overflowed (in the Deluge of NūH), We let you (O mankind,) board the floating ship |
| Muhammad Asad [And] behold: when the waters [of Noah's flood] burst beyond all limits, it was We who caused you to be borne [to safety] in that floating ark |
