Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Fajr ayat 16 - الفَجر - Page - Juz 30
﴿وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ ﴾
[الفَجر: 16]
﴿وأما إذا ما ابتلاه فقدر عليه رزقه فيقول ربي أهانن﴾ [الفَجر: 16]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But when He tries them, restricting subsistence from them, he says then, “My Lord has humiliated me.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad But when his Master tests him and decreases his provisions for him, then he says: my Master dishonored me |
Ali Quli Qarai But when He tests him and tightens for him his provision, he says, ‘My Lord has humiliated me.’ |
Ali Unal But whenever He tries him by straitening his means of livelihood, then he says, "My Lord has humiliated me |
Hamid S Aziz But whenever he tries him and restricts his subsistence, then he says, "My Lord despises me |
John Medows Rodwell But when he proveth him and limiteth his gifts to him, He saith, "My Lord despiseth me |
Literal And but when as long as He tested him, so He tightened/strained on him His/his provision, so he says: "My Lord humiliated/disgraced/degraded me |
Mir Anees Original And as for (the situation) when He tries him by straitening on him his provision, he says, “My Fosterer has disgraced me.” |
Mir Aneesuddin And as for (the situation) when He tries him by straitening on him his provision, he says, “My Lord has disgraced me.” |
