﴿وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ ﴾
[الفَجر: 16]
﴿وأما إذا ما ابتلاه فقدر عليه رزقه فيقول ربي أهانن﴾ [الفَجر: 16]
Shabbir Ahmed But when He lets his life take a turn by restricting his provision, he says, "My Lord has disgraced me |
Syed Vickar Ahamed But when He tries him, (by) restricting his livelihood for him, then he says (in despair), "My Mighty Lord has put me to shame |
Talal A Itani New Translation But whenever He tests him, and restricts his livelihood for him, he says, 'My Lord has insulted me |
