﴿إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنَٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡجَارِيَةِ ﴾
[الحَاقة: 11]
﴿إنا لما طغى الماء حملناكم في الجارية﴾ [الحَاقة: 11]
| Dr Kamal Omar Surely We, when the water rose beyond limits, We carried you in the Ark (of Prophet Nuh) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar When the waters became turbulent, we carried you in that which runs on water |
| Dr Munir Munshey Indeed, (oh believers, during the great deluge of Nooh) when the water began to inundate, We carried you (and kept you afloat) aboard a ship |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, we, when the water surged, bore you on it in a sailing ship |
| Farook Malik Just consider the great flood of Noah, when the water rose high, We carried you (O mankind) in the floating Ark |
