﴿فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامٖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ ﴾
[الذَّاريَات: 45]
﴿فما استطاعوا من قيام وما كانوا منتصرين﴾ [الذَّاريَات: 45]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So they were not able to rise up, nor could they defend themselves |
| Mohammad Shafi They could not even stand up or help themselves |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Then they were neither able to stand (before the punishment), nor could they defend themselves |
