| هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ (1) Est vos aware de the Overwhelming |
| وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ (2) Faces ut feria shamed |
| عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ (3) Laboring ac exhausted |
| تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً (4) Suffering blazing Hellfire |
| تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ (5) Drinking ex flaming fontis |
| لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ (6) They non habet food useless variety |
| لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ (7) It nunquam nourishes nor satisfies hunger |
| وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ (8) Alius faces feria testimentum est foderator de joy |
| لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ (9) Satisfied their work |
| فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ (10) In exalted Paradise |
| لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً (11) In it non nonsense heard |
| فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ (12) In it fons flows |
| فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ (13) In it ibi est luxurious furnishings |
| وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ (14) drinks factus available |
| وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ (15) pitchers in rows |
| وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ (16) Ac carpets throughout |
| أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ (17) Why they non reflect camels ac quam they created |
| وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ (18) Ac caelum ac quam it levabat |
| وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ (19) Ac montis ac quam they constructed |
| وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ (20) Ac terra ac quam it built |
| فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ (21) Vos remind tuus mission est deliver hoc reminder |
| لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ (22) Vos non habet power them |
| إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ (23) Prout pro those turn disbelieve |
| فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ (24) DEUS testimentum commit them MAJOR retribution |
| إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ (25) To nos est their ultimate destiny |
| ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم (26) Tunc nos alias them account |
